Lou Hanson, pottery
Lou has whimsical garden totems, and gorgeous floral blessing bowls.
Chandra Rice, Jewellery, Weaving, Glass, Wood, Metal
Chandra uses many materials - fibre, glass, wood, metal - to explore the joys of making. A good day is when the materials come alive in her hands, and her mind relaxes into the process. She will be bringing a selection of hand-bound journals, jewellery, weavings, and glass bowls. www.chandrarice.ca

Creating organic and abstract art through watercolour print making, fabrics, acrylics, pottery and wood is Inga’s passion.

The Oakville Art Society's annual Teachers' Show is on the latter part of September. If you find yourself in Oakville during that time, check it out! If you're looking to take a class, this is a great opportunity to see what art your instructors make and you can decide if you want to learn how to create something similar!
This year I am lucky enough to be accepted into the show through 2 guilds - the Potters and the new Fibre Arts Guild. Those following me on Facebook have seen small pics of my pieces. The show runs for a month in the main Lee Chin Family Gallery and starts the same weekend as the Kaleidoscope Sale. I will also have pottery and fibre stuff for sale during that sale.
The opening reception for the All Guilds Show is on the day before the show officially opens. Friday April 22nd from 5-7pm. There will be an awards ceremony that night.
The Kaleidoscope sale will be open during those hours too. I will be at the opening reception. Hope to see you there too!
Spring Sale of the Guilds at the Art Gallery of Burlington. Pottery (I'll have a table in the Shoreline Room), woodcarving, sculpture, photography, fine art, weaving, spinning. Lots of fabulous art from which to choose!

As a member of the Burlington Potters' Guild, I will once again have a couple of tables of pottery for sale in the Lee Chin Gallery at the AGB for the annual Christmas Sale/Soup Bowl event.
All Guilds at the AGB will have their art for sale at the event, so it's an excellent opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done! There will be pottery (of course!), fibre art, rug hooking, weaving, painting, photography, sculpture and wood carving. Lots to see!
When there, why not take part in the Soup Bowl event? $45 gets you your choice of hand made soup bowl, a choice of artisanal soups, salads, rolls, coffee and dessert. You get to keep the bowl! I am hoping to donate at least 40 bowls to the event this year. The proceeds from Soup Bowl go directly to funding the AGB facility. To get tickets for Soup Bowl, please go to the www.artgalleryofburlington.com website or call 905.632.7796.
The Christmas Sale is free to the public and the parking will be free for the weekend.
